Arriva Trains Wales has just launched an improved real time train service information system call Journey Check. This enables you to instantly see that the train you intend to travel on is running according to schedule, or should problems arise, if delays are expected. Access it online at www.journeycheck.com/arrivatrainswales or download it for Iphone here.
The best app currently available according to some is the 'Train Tickets' app from Cross Country Trains. It is free of charge, and even gives you information on whether a train is on time, how late it is, which platform it's arriving at etc. You can even check arrivals and departures at any given time at any particular station. Remember - it's free of charge (correct at time of writing).
